Hello!
My name is Tania Haldar and I am the founder of Vision One World, a Toronto-based nonprofit initiative dedicated to strengthening community connection, resilience, and mentorship through storytelling and shared experiences. My projects are designed in response to an increasing sense of social disconnection many individuals face today. Through community gatherings, inspirational storytelling, and mentorship conversations, the initiative works to create spaces where individuals can share experiences, learn from others, and find encouragement to move forward.
Your donation will help someone suffering from loneliness – one of the leading causes of depression and suicides around the world. In August 2025, the World Health Organization (WHO) reported that loneliness is linked to more than 871,000 deaths annually worldwide, including those caused by suicide. Antiquity United Circle, one of my 3 projects is attempting to close that gap.
The initiative operates through three active projects:
Antiquity United Circle
Intimate gatherings designed to bring people together to share personal experiences, build community support, and encourage self-worth and second chances.
Heroes of Phoenix Rising
A storytelling platform that highlights individuals who have overcome significant adversity and chosen to help others. Twenty-five such stories have already been documented and published.
WeWise
An interview series with professionals and mentors who share guidance and practical insights for individuals seeking direction in their personal or professional lives. Thirteen interviews have been published so far.
I am therefore, currently seeking funding support to expand these initiatives, allowing for more community gatherings, storytelling projects, and mentorship conversations throughout Toronto.
Funding support would allow the initiative to:
• Host additional community connection events
• Document and share more stories of resilience and courage
• Expand mentorship conversations with professionals and leaders
• Increase accessibility for community members who benefit from these spaces
